How to install comdlg32.ocx | Missing ocx, codejock and dll files

I have posted many hacking softwares on Techotoys. Many of these hacking softwares need specific ocx, codejock and dll files for their working. Well, I found that some of the Techotoys readers were not able to install comdlg32.ocx, codejock and other dll files on their computer and they asked me to post an article on how to install comdlg32.ocx and other dll files.

If you are getting any error like:

“Component comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid”

Then your computer lacks comdlg32.ocx file and hence you are required to install comdlg32.ocx by registering comdlg32.ocx.

I have written the steps to install comdlg32.ocx and other dll files in the below article.

How to install comdlg32.ocx and other dll files:

Well, there are three ways to register such missing ocx, codejock and dll files:

1. Ascentive tool
2. Registrator
3. Manual method

1. Ascentive tool:

This is my favorite software to install comdlg32.ocx and similar dll files. This software is developed by Ascentive and is available free of cost on web. You have to only install the “Library files” setup on your computer.

You can download Library files setup to install comdlg32.ocx and other dll files.
Password: techotoys.net

Remember to install this file in C:\Windows\System32 folder. This is present by default. So, better don’t change it.

2. Registrator:

This is one of the best tools ever made to install missing codejock and dll files. This tool lacks some of the important dll files. But, it is an All-in-One pack for codejock files. So, if you are getting any error of the form:

Don’t worry. Simply use this tool to install codejock file. Download Codejock and Ocx pack.

The package contains more than 60 codejock and ocx files. This codejock pack was developed by Akinova.

3. Manual Method:

If you have problems in above two methods, then it is time to use your hands!!! Download missing comdlg32.ocx file from web. You can use Ascentive or Ocxdump website to download this file.

Now, copy the downloaded comdlg32.ocx file in C:\Windows\System32 folder.

On your desktop, Right click -> New -> Shortcut. Now, enter the following code in the dialog prompt:

regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\comdlg32.ocx

Note: If you are trying to install other ocx file, replace “comdlg32.ocx” with your ocx file name.

Hit on Next and Finish.

Now, run the created shortcut as an Administrator. Use Right Click -> Run As Administrator.

You will get a box like this:

Thus, you have successfully installed comdlg32.ocx file on your computer. Now, run your software and it should be fine.
